Theology
Alongside their cohort, residents learn on-site at Two Cities, under the direction of the Pastor of Leadership Development, as they participate in Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. At the end of two years, residents will have earned a Master’s in Christian Ministry while also gaining practical hands-on ministry experience that they can carry with them wherever they go next.
Leadership
Ministry Leads walk alongside residents in their chosen track, developing them as they lead themselves, lead others, lead teams, and lead ministries.
Residents also receive opportunities to grow in leadership as they contribute meaningfully to the ministry and mission of the church.
Community
Residents grow in character as they serve on serving teams, participate in Community Groups, and are paired with lay leaders in the church for one-on-one mentorship. These mentors are people of strong, Christ-shaped character who walk alongside residents as they navigate all things spiritual, personal, and professional.

College
Disciple the next generation.
Take personal risks to reach the lost and build a “conversion community” on the university campus. You will focus on high-level relational ministry, raising up students to be leaders who are ready to “pray, guess, and go” into church planting, ministry, or the mission field upon graduation.
Connections
Helps others take their next steps.
Master the art of “unreasonable hospitality” by ensuring that while the Gospel is offensive, nothing else is. You will manage the first impressions pipeline to move guests from the “street to their seat” while learning that the “why” is always more important than the “what”.
Creative Communications
Tell the story.
Celebrate a Savior rather than selling a product by using strategic media to invite people into shared experiences with Christ. You will learn to advocate for your audience by ensuring clear communication beats clever design, removing obstacles so people can stand in awe of the Creator.
Discipleship & Groups
Foster Community & Spiritual Growth.
Learn to shepherd, steward, and send members through the local church. You will gain hands-on experience in multiplying leaders rather than just groups, learning to lead with patience and “confront with care” to ensure your ministry reproduces a healthy, gospel-centered culture.
International Missions
Mobilize the church for the Great Commission by supporting long-term physical missionary presence among the unreached. You will use short-term trips to strengthen both the church and the goer for the glory of Christ.
Local Missions
Prioritize the “places of greatest lostness” in our city by partnering with local organizations to reach our neighbors. You will learn to love your neighbor by knowing your neighbor and mobilizing the church to leverage their time, talents, and treasures.
Kids
Join a team of disciple-makers, not daycare, to help children meet Jesus and make friends. In this track, you will learn to nurture faith rather than manufacture it, focusing on reaching a child’s heart instead of just their habits. You will gain hands-on experience in a gospel-centered environment that seeks to resource, not replace, parents as they lead their families.
Students
Build a “conversion community” by going to students where they are, rather than waiting for them to come to you. You will learn to have hard, uncomfortable conversations that provide real answers, empowering students to take risks for the Gospel and own their faith today rather than just inheriting it.
Worship and Production
Fuel public worship through a life of private devotion while prioritizing character over talent in every technical and musical detail. You will learn to “serve the room” by managing biblical song selection and undistracted excellence in production, ensuring that every iteration of lighting, sound, and video serves to exalt Christ and call the congregation to respond in faith.
This Could Be You
